Day + 115....This just in!

Hey all!
Hope everyone is doing well! I have some super exciting news and I can't wait to share it! Ready?
Here it is....
Daylon sat up for five...count that...FIVE whole minutes straight! I have no idea where that came from! He was sitting up for about 30 seconds straight before he would poop out lately and we were thrilled with that much progress! I guess he's having a "go get 'em" day! =) I'm so stoked! PLUS! Not to brag, but he has been so ridiculously excited and happy the last 24 hours that we've been on cloud 9! He's so smiley again and I love it! It's contagious! My other kids were being little pills yesterday (yes, that happens sometimes with them. :) ), and every time I was about ready to run for the hills, I'd turn and look at Daylon and he would just beam. My frustration would just melt away and all I can do is smile and want to pinch his little cheeks!...no worries... I didn't. :) I wish I could bottle his smiles and send them to you all.
I don't have time for a full post, everyone is up and going a million miles an hour right now, so it's back to the grind. Hope your day is going as well as ours! Thank you for all your comments and support, by-the-way! You guys are awesome! Have a happy day!
PS- I took like a minute of video but the Internet is too slow to let me post it today. Sorry! This is gonna have to be a pictureless post!

Oh Jen how EXCITING!!!! I am so happy to hear this GREAT NEWS!! Go Daylon!! Woohoo...

Wow, I get excited to hear such great things about him like he's my own child. :0) I remember that excitement with my own babies when they learned how to sit up or crawl or WALK!! It's just so amazing to see them progress and become little people. My son hasn't started to walk yet but he can stand up and he tries to walk using the furniture. And there is definitely nothing greater then a HAPPY BABY. Those smiles and laughs are just so contagious!! Oh I can't wait to see the video you made. That'll be great to see Daylon having fun!! Oh, I just love your family!!

Lots of prayers are still continuing for Daylons continued progress.

Lots of Love,
Amber McLaughlin CA

That is so exciting to hear! The milestones are so satisfying when you know they've worked so hard to reach them. Also, we were looking at some older posts and my kids were looking at Daylon's skin in wonderment. They asked if it was the same baby because his skin was so clear. Wonderful news!

I remember the days when one good day seemed to wash away a week of bad days. I hope that works for you too! I pray that the good days outnumber the bad as Daylon continues to progress. God Bless you all.....you're doing an amazing job, all of you!

Yeah Daylon! Glad to read such encouraging news.
I believe that Daylon will regain his abilities as his brain "re-wires" itself. Be patient, it takes time to grow new neuronal pathways! Also, you may not be aware that some severely epileptic children have half of their brains surgically removed to stop the seizures. It is called a hemispherectomy. There are support groups for this that may have some helpful information for you.

Hang in there. Prayers continue to go up for Daylon and your family!

God Bless,
Cindy in SC

Stopping by to let you know I continue to pray for Daylon - praying God heals his kidneys miraculously, his new cells to continue to grow, and that his development just astonish everyone. So glad that God is still doing miracles today and you are here to write about them.

Stay strong - I am claiming Philippians 4:13 for you today, "I CAN do ALL things THROUGH CHRIST who STRENGTHENS me"!!!
