Thank you!

I just wanted to drop a little note to thank all of you who participated in the prayer for Daylon's kidneys tonight at 8pm. I really felt the Spirit and was comforted by the idea of so many people communing with God from all over the world for our little guy. I know I say it a lot, but I'll say it again: I am thankful for your prayers. I am thankful for your support. I am thankful for your comments. I am thankful for you. You inspire me and give me strength. We've been told several times, "I don't know how you do it" and I know exactly how we do it...we have a strong belief in God and an amazing support team that pushes us everyday to keep going, to keep a stiff upper lip and trudge through the mess of it all.  On those days when life seems too much handle, your words of encouragement and support helps us to see the sunshine on a cloudy day. I believe in God and I believe in prayer. I know we've been heard and now we listen for our answer. Sweet dreams.

Daylon looks so cute in his hat! I also think the pictures of your kids together are so cute even if one of them is looking down. I am praying for Daylon and your family!

Dear Daylon and his Family,

I follow you every day and have for a long time. I just wanted to write a few words to show my support and tell you that I care so much for your little boy even though we have never met. I hope, with all of my heart, that Daylon will keep getting stronger and return to being the baby boy he was before all of this.

Thank you for this comment. It was very uplifting. I can barely see through my own pain at the moment. These were great words to read. So proud to be by your side through it all. I love your pictures. I have total camera envy. Great editing on Daylon's pic! Because of his hair and darkened skin, he temporarily looks a little less "Edling," but in this picture, his "Edlingness" shines through. You are an AWESOME mommy, and Brian is an AWESOME daddy!

Oh, Jennifer (and Brian),
You have been through so, so much. Of course you are going to have times when you feel despondent and it's ok to feel sad, and feel loss sometimes. You are amazing, strong people and we hope to muddle through this with half of the strength and grace that you two have!

I think I should be the one thanking you. I have learned a lot from your little boy and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing his story with us. It was our pleasure to pray for him, and we will continue to do so.

P.S. He looks super handsome in that picture!
