busy day part II

This was one of the happiest moments of my life. Nurses and doctors were running in to see him laugh and then stood there crying right along with us! In the words of several members of the medical staff, "this is why I do this job."

Heavenly Father has heard our prayers again. Another miracle.

PS- Dr. Tolar was paged :)

Oh My God! I have no words, I am so happy. I just know you will have you baby back, it may be bumpy but you will have him back. This was God telling you to hold on. He will give you your son back, stronger than ever before, and all of us, will have lived through His Miracle. Our Faith will always remember the experience and will hold us through our journey. I am convinced this is why you must go through this, to give all the people who are following your story a lesson in Faith and you were chosen for your stenght. How I wish my words could truly explain what my self feels it knows. You will have your son back. Keep the Faith. When you feel like you are growing tired of the journey, remember all the signs that tell you that you are on the right path. You have every right to ramble and feel all those emotions in your post yesterday, don't get me wrong, I'm sure you will have more days like that but know we are out here listening and praying. There is not a single day that I don't look for your post. I pray for your son constantly, I seriously mean constantly...and I don't even know you. The love I feel for your son is unbelievable. A miracle in itself.

I rabled.... lol. That video made me so happy.

Hi Jennifer,

I read your blog every day and continue to be amazed how well you are dealing with this incredible adventure.

It's through the faith, hope and prayers of all who know you and your family that this marvel is unfolding before our eyes. The hand of the LORD is behind all those who care for Daylon to make this miracle happen and bring you all home to Corona.

Oh my goodness. I'm so happy right now I'm bawling my eyes out. YAY DAYLON! I can only imagine the joy you felt seeing him laugh like that. The Lord works in mysterious ways and he answered so many of our prayers with just that small moment of laughter. I know it doesn't mean he's back to 100% but he's on his way. Baby steps.
I want you guys to know that even though we have never met, I feel a love for your family. I think about Daylon and you guys every day and I say a prayer often. Daylon is a strong spirit who has been saved for these latter days. You and Brian were chosen as his parents for a reason. It's awesome to know that God knows each and every one of us personally and loves us. He gives each of us our trials and only he understands why. Stay strong!!

Take Care,
Amber McLaughlin,CA

That is so great, he is really cute, with his new smile and little giggle. I am so happy he is improving and for a little guy he is really doing well. He has gone through more in the last 2 months than most people do in a lifetime, and he's coming out smiling and giggling..... oh so cool, way to go Daylon, you doing great, and mom and dad for supporting him through this battle. Will keep you all in my prayers especially Daylon.

I've never posted on here but I read pretty much daily. I just wanted to let you know I have been crying pretty much non stop the last few hours over dreams that have ended up being put on hold and I am feeling sorry for myself. Then I read your blog and saw the video clip of Daylon laughing and I thought, if this baby boy can laugh through all this pain and these parents can still find hope in all they are going through, how can I sit here and feel sorry for myself? What a blessing this blog is to me...I am praying for Daylon and your family.

What a great blessing to see Daylon laughing and to see and feel the love. Heavenly Father has made a miracle, he is doing it in small steps but progressing. Daylon is such a precious and beautiful baby. You and Brian are such loving and devoted parents, and Heavenly Father knows this and is why he put this beautiful child in your care. It is so wonderful to see the love, devotion and caring you have. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always and We Love You. Keep the Faith.
Your Heavenly Father is there with you.

wow.. I don't know you or your son, but after following your blog for months and then seeing that, I'm crying. Amazing!! Your baby is in there!! I'm an OT and I'm sure yours are telling you this already, but remember rehab takes time. It won't happen over night, so measure his progress slowly, and continue to celebrate each baby step he makes back to you. He's truly an amazing, miracle child!!!
